B&B Sport Aviation in Paradise!
In May of 2009 BBSA became a dealer for Paradise USA, adding for the first time to our line of aircraft which had always been RANS. It is a changing market and to some extent, we have to change with it. I still love the RANS line and I feel that the difference between the two aircraft are like comparing  apples to oranges. Some folks like apples and some like oranges. I love them both! Among many great features, the Paradise offers an all metal high wing with yokes and BBSA needed something for our line that would appeal to the many general aviation guys.

The "Cessna look" with a yoke attracts these clients and lots of others.  Older, less nimble pilots are pleased that they can simply slip in and out without having to step over control sticks. I also needed a plane that was tough enough to handle a flight school and I want my tools to fit. The Paradise is made in America and with the exception of the Rotax engine, it is not metric.
The company is also financially strong and committed to the aviation market. Not much is worse than spending 100K and not being able to get parts or service. Paradise USA and their parent company are very strong and very committed. Which brings me to RANS. Twenty six years and they still have the same phone number and the same owner! That's a proven track record!
I love the RANS line of quality aircraft. I have been building, selling and representing RANS since 1988. I am a "stick and rudder" guy! For me manuvering myself over and past the sticks on a RANS is not yet a problem. I simply jump in and strap the plane on! My style of flying is yanking and banking and that's what RANS delivers for me. Most weekends you'll find me out flying with my weekend warrior buddies. We're out flying tight, cruising the river beds and looking for a dogfight. The RANS are also comfortable and very suitable for long cross country flying. In 2006 My freind Mike Suckling and I left Cambridge in two S-12's. We flew to Warrenton Virginia to meet up with our freinds Ed and Jannel Williams and their new S-12.

The 4 of us flew all 3 planes more than half way across the country
to the RANS Open House in Hays Kansas... and back!
RANS currently has three SLSA (turn key) aircraft,
the S-19 Venterra, The S-7LS Courier and the S-6LS Coyote II.

All great planes, but wait! Where did all the builders go?
BBSA has not given up the kit plane market. As a matter of fact, we stay very involved in supporting and assisting the kit plane builder and we need more builders! Get involved! See how rewarding it truly is to build and fly your own airplane!
